Science with Mr. Jones

Class Rules

1)      No food or drinks allowed in class – this is a District regulation for science rooms.

2)      Come to class prepared –

i)        enthusiasm

ii)      textbook,

iii)    notebook – including a dedicated vocabulary notebook

iv)    writing instruments

v)      calculator

(1)   Most of my classes require only a general purpose calculator capable of doing exponents.

(2)   Physics requires a scientific calculator capable of trigonometry.

3)      Don’t expect to leave class to collect what you neglected to bring with you.

4)      Electronic amusements - music, games, cell phones, etc. will be taken away if I see them in use during class time.  Cell phones are not allowed in the school building at any time.

5)      Seating will be assigned.

6)      Respect your classmates, your future, and me by maintaining order in the classroom and by listening carefully when I am talking. 

7)      Do not play with any of the lab apparatus – including the faucets and gas outlets!  You may use them as part of labs – when directed to.

8)      The computers are here for school purposes only!  You may not use them for personal entertainment.
