I will gladly meet with students before class any day except for Tuesday or after school on Monday, Thursday and Friday's. Students will be graded on a Pass/Fail. The class will consist of experiments, discussion, observation and worksheets. I will attempt to do as many hands on activities as possible as I believe that students learn best from hands on activities. We will help with the school's recycling program. During the spring semester we will be growing plants and planting them in the planters in front of the school and in the quad. LIFE SKILLS: Mr. Frank Cafferty and I will be sharing the responsibility of the Life Skills class. We will take turns teaching the class every other quarter. Students during my quarters will be cooking, working on money skills to purchase various items and to determine if they have enough money for a specific purchase, sewing, such as repairing seams, tiny rips, and sewing on buttons and also make an apron. |
