| Our study of WWII will be many faceted, with the focal point being the Diary of a Young Girl, by Anne Frank. We will examine first-hand reports of the Holocaust, period poetry, some historical fiction works, and a little information about the US involvement in WWII. |

You will choose an individual topic to research fourth quarter, and develop an extended report and presentation. You will be writing your own poetry reflecting on what you discover, and a short fiction piece to culminate this unit. |
