Here are some tips to making sure you have an A+ year in Language Arts at

Sandpoint Middle School

  • Turn in all assignments.

  • Do your assignments neatly (or you may be asked to re-do them).

  • Turn in assignments on time!  Late assignments are accepted one day late with a parent signature for half credit.

  • After an assignment is graded, re-do, correct and revise it if you feel it was not your best work, and you would like to earn a higher score.

  • Follow all school and class rules.

  • Read a book 30 minutes each night, and record your reading on your monthly calendar in your Agenda Book.  Please ask parents to sign this book once a week to verify your home reading.

  • Keep track of the classroom agenda and homework assignments in the agenda book provided by the school.

  • Strive to be the best you can be!

Please use our "Pass" system to check on your student's scores regularly.  I post grades to the web at least once a week.
