REMEMBER: 80% must be maintained to be considered in good standing, as well as dues being paid, AND all hours should be turned in at this time.  Absent reports must be filed (look in office box or download from "reports" link) with Mrs. Auld  within one week of absence.

MU = Made up the missed meeting hours.

Section III: Remaining Active (amended September 2008)

A.  Members must attend 80% of the meetings held by the chapter to remain active; likewise officers must attend 80% of the officer meetings.

B.   A total of 25 service project hours will be rendered for the school year. Members must contribute at least 15 hours of the chapter’s listed community/school service projects out of the required 25 service hours. At semester, members should review their attendance hours.  Any missing hours should be matched with a corresponding attendance form

C.   Members must maintain a weighted 3.5 GPA to maintain membership.  Each semester where a member’s cumulative GPA falls below the weighted GPA standard will be cause for issuing a warning to the member.

D.  Those members who are seniors, who are in good standing as of May of their graduating year, will be eligible for Senior Sashes and the NHS Scholarship. All service hours are to be turned in to the NHS advisor by the Friday prior to senior finals.

E.  No person shall be elected to an officer position that has previously been given two warnings.
