Sandpoint High School Computer Science Program

Computer Electronics is a program designed to prepare students with skills to assemble, install, operate, maintain and repair electrical/electronic equipment used in industry and manufacturing.  Instruction includes using actual equipment such as power supplies, computer monitors, video cassette recorders, amplifiers, digital and computer circuitry, and computer printers.  Also included are instructions on how to use electronic test equipment and training in employability skills including leadership, human relations and safe efficient work practices.

Computer Electronics I:  One Semester, Elective Regular
                                    This course is designed to introduce students to electronics technology applications.

Computer Electronics II:  Two Semesters, Elective Regular
                                     Co-requisite:  Computer Electronics I
                                     This course is designed to introduce students to electronics technology applications.
                                     Teacher:  Dave Darling

Computer Electronics III:  Year long, Elective
                                      Prerequisite:  Computer Electronics II
                                      This course is designed to introduce students to problem solving, networking,
                                      diagnostics, troubleshooting and repairing to industry standards.
